Myana Henderson

Myana Monique Henderson, 21, passed away on August 13, 2022, in Kansas City, MO. She was born August 5, 2001, in Kansas City, MO to Markus Henderson Sr., and Dawn Kopecky. She grew up in the greater Kansas City, MO area. She attended Ray-Pec High School. After high school she held several different jobs. She was recently hired at Kiddie Daycare and was looking forward to starting to work there. She loved to write music, sing, and rap.

Myana had the voice of an angel; heaven is truly blessed to have her in their choir.

She was preceded in death by, her sister, Damari Green; and her brother, Christopher Henderson.

She is survived by her mother, Dawn Kopecky; her father, Markus Henderson Sr.; brothers, Demond Reeves Jr., Markus Henderson II, and Devin Henderson; sisters, Dai’ja Kopecky, Courtney Henderson, E’monye Bennett; aunts, Wendy, Nychole, Tirhonda, Donisha, and Shakena; uncles, Arthur, and Andre; niece, Armani; nephews, Khalil, Mekhi, Royal, Adonis, and Messiah; grandparents, Cheryl Hunter, Melinda Williams, Kevin Williams; bonus father, Terry Stringer; special friend, Lonnie Thompson Jr.
