Myrtice A. Anderson

Myrtice A. Anderson, 70, was born on May 10, 1951, in Cedar Town, GA, to the late Eddie B. Miller Sr. and Ora Bell Miller.  She was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Gayle Howell.

She graduated from Lillis High School in 1969 located in Kansas City, MO.  She was employed at GM, where she later retired. She went on to work for Sears for a few years then she had other plans.  Myrtice had a deep love for children and decided to open up her own home-based daycare named, MT’s Daycare.  She taught her children like they were in school, provided home cooked meals, and treated them all like they were family.  She worked her daycare until her health no longer allowed her to do so in 2020.

Myrtice accepted Christ at a young age, and couldn’t nobody tell her that her God didn’t love her.  She was a faithful member of Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church located in Kansas City, MO where she attended as much as she could, even when her health didn't allow her to attend a full worship service, she went to Sunday School.

Myrtice was married to Booker T. Anderson Sr. and of that union two children were born. She was also a beloved mother to four other children whom she loved dearly.

Her mother Ora Bell Miller; her brother, Eddie B. Miller Jr. of  Palms, CA; her sister, Twyler Rogers of  Kansas City, MO; her children, Leticia L. Anderson, Booker T. Anderson Jr. (Tracia), Stan Evans Sr. (KC, MO), Tirisha Anderson (KC,MO), Aron Anderson (KC, MO),  and Brooke Anderson (Klein, TX); 18 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren; her best friend, Delores Elias; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, family and friends.
