Nadine Allison, 69, departed this life on February 11, 2026, surrounded by her beloved children and family. Gone from our sight but never from our hearts. She was affectionately known as, "Mama", "Squeaky", "Aunt Squeaky", and "Grandma".
Nadine was born on August 22, 1956, to Nathaniel Anderson and Wilma Dean Allison in Kansas City, Missouri. She was the third sibling of seven children born to this union. Nadine was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters: Mary Allison, Tina Allison, Pearl Allison and Janice Allison, and one brother, John Allison. She is survived by her brother and best friend Aaron Allison and his wife Terry.
Nadine was a lifelong resident of Kansas City, Missouri. She received her education in the Kansas City Missouri School District. She worked as a cashier and gave back to her community by working as a bus driver for the Kansas City Missouri School District until her health began to fail, forcing her into early retirement.
Nadine enjoyed retirement. She loved having the time to watch her favorite television shows, going shopping, traveling, and occasionally visiting the casinos. Most importantly, Nadine enjoyed spending time with her family, especially hanging out with her great grandchildren. Whether offering guidance, sharing wisdom, or just lending a kind listening ear, she made others feel valued and understood.
Nadine Allison was the matriarch of the family, a natural born nurturer, the one who helped keep everyone together. She was always kindhearted, determined, and had a natural ability for bringing people together.
Left to cherish Nadine's sweet memories: her son, Donald Allison; her daughter, Lakisha Allison (Anshun); five grandsons: Brie'Shean Williams (Wanitsa), Demario Allison, Alonzo Bell, Imani Drew and Daylon Allison; one granddaughter, Dasia Allison; six great-grandchildren: Tararat Nongnuan, Alyssia Williams, Kobe Allison, Aviyon Allison, DaRiya Farmer, DaRell Farmer Jr. and Amyra Griffin.
She will also be missed by nephews dear to her heart: Antione Allison, Dione Allison and Richard Reed; her nieces dear to her heart, Danita Allison and Mamie Allison; along with a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends that she loved and cherished.
Nadine left a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering devotion to those fortunate enough to know her. She will be remembered by her warm smile, infectious laugh, sense of humor, and dedication to her family.
Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that Nadine Allison’s life was a gift — one that will continue to bear fruit in the lives of all who loved her.
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10
