Nelda Ruth Thomas

Nelda Ruth Thomas, 67, of Kansas City, Missouri, was born in the town of Morrilton, Arkansas to Everett Byers and Ellen L. (Hunt) Whitlow.

she graduated from Southeast High School in 1975 and attended Penn Valley Community College thereafter. Most of her career was spent at Research Medical Center in the Radiology/Oncology Department until leaving and retiring from Government employment in 2021.

Nelda is preceded into death by her brother; Michael E. Hunt, former husband; Dwight M. Thomas, step-father; Gene T. Jones Sr, mother; Ellen L. Jones and son; Dwight A. Thomas.

Surviving family includes son; Michael A. Thomas, daughter; Marla Griffin(James), daughter-in-law; Lashannon (Shawn) Tinner-Thomas, grandchildren; Kendra D. Cole, Dwight A. Thomas Jr., Tyriek Cole, Jayden P. Thomas, Michael A. Thomas Jr., Step-brother; David G. Jones and a host of other relatives and friends.
