Norman Dale Williams (Norm), age 50 passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 29th , 2016 in his home at 4323 E 45th Terrace Kansas City, Missouri. He was born October 8th, 1965, Kansas City, Missouri to Arthur and Shirley (Black) Williams and was the youngest of four children. He was a 1984 graduate of Paseo High School, Kansas City, Missouri. He married Lawanda McDonald and later divorced. Together they had two sons. He worked as an associate at The Ritz Charles Venue, Overland Park, Kansas, providing cool, confident, courteous food and beverage service to guest during their most memorable and momentous events. Norman had a natural way of connecting with people, he was good at fixing and rigging things to make them work. Norman often said "everything has value and could be reused, nothing was a waste." He saw the value in others discarded useless possessions and even show them how to turn their useless possessions into cash. In his leisure time he enjoyed cooking, watching the Kansas City Chiefs, and educating his children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and even some adults about life. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, six aunts, three uncles and ex-wife. Left to honor and remember Norman's love are is two sons Derrick Williams (Tennessee) and Stefon Williams (Kansas City, Missouri) parents Arthur and Shirley Williams, three siblings, Bobbie (Tony) Dilworth, Jeffrey Williams, and Donna (James) Johnson, seven grandchildren, Derrick Jr., Dillon, Dereon, Cassidy, and Kailee, (Tennessee), Ruqiyah and Stefon Jr., two nephews Geno (Larry) Tuggle, Jay (James Jr) Johnson, two great nieces Jaeda and LaNyah , close friends Johnny G., Stevie J., Rodney, and Dave, many uncles, aunts, and cousins. Family and friends and others who lives Norman touched are invited to Second Baptist Church, 3620 E 39th St., KC, MO., on Saturday, October 8th 2016. Visitation from 10:00am to 11:00am. Service begins at 11:00 come reminisce, grieve, support each other and, of course, just chat.
