Onofre R Lansangan

MR. ONOFRE R. LANSANGAN (Color) Onofre Reyes Lansangan also known as "Ofring", passed away peacefully at 9:10am on December 24th, 2015 at the age of 70 years old, at North Kansas City Hospital. He was born on January 12, 1945 to Olimpio and Rosario Lansangan in Sto. Domingo, Mexico Pampanga, Philippines. Onofre is survived by his wife Leticia, children: Freddie, Onofre Jr., Enrico, Jennifer and Robert, his grandchildren: Kendra, Jonathan, Skylar, Dylan, Carmina, Brittany, Mark, Rommel and Emilyn. Onofre also leaves behind his siblings Lydia, Marietta, Adela, Crispin, Lucila, Fernando and Ben(Jun), daughters-in-law, sisters-in law, brothers-in law and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Olimpio and Rosario Lansangan, Aunt Feliza Lansangan, Brother Angel Lansangan, Sister Dolores Lansangan and Grandsons, Gabriel Lansangan and DeAngelo Porchia, Andrew Lansangan. At the age of 5 years old, Aunt Feliza (Imang Isang) requested that Onofre stay with her until the Lansangan family gets situated in Manila. Instead, Imang Isang raised him until he was fully independent. He was a contractor at the Clark Air Force base in Angeles City, Philippines. On November 9th, 1969 he married Leticia. He and his family joined the rest of the Lansangan family in Kansas City, Missouri on July 14th 1989. He retired as a building manager at the Kansas City Missouri School District in 2010. During his retirement he enjoyed looking after his grandchildren, gardening, cooking and watching Filipino TV shows with his wife. Funeral Services will be held at Holy Rosary Parish at 911, E Missouri Ave, KCMO 64106, on Tuesday December 29th 2015. Viewing and Rosary will start at 10am followed by the Funeral Mass at 11 am. The interment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 7601 Blue Ridge Blvd. Kansas City MO 64138 immediately after the Funeral Mass.
