Otis Cline Robinson

Otis Cline Robinson was born on November 25, 1939, in Shaw, Mississippi. He was the youngest of nine children born to Jake Cline Robinson and Lucille (Harris) Robinson, who preceded him in death. Otis accepted Christ at an early age with the guidance of his older sister, Thelma Marshall. In 1968, Otis married Joyce Jones. Though this union ended in 1976, they were blessed with three children: Kevin Robinson, Victoria (Robinson) Allen, and Marcelus Cline Robinson. Otis later met Nettie Bradford and had two children: Otis Cline Robinson Jr. and Michael Robinson. During this relationship, Otis also proudly raised Susie Aubrey as his own. Otis was a hard worker and skilled with his hands. There was nothing he couldn't do. One of his many talents was being a skilled painter. He worked for Clay and Bailey as a forklift operator and later landed a construction job with Wilson Concrete Company. Otis retired after 35 years as the top concrete finisher. Otis departed this life on July 10, 2024, at 2:30 AM. He leaves to cherish his memories: all of his children and Annette Beasley, his partner of over 20 years. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Otis was preceded in death by eight siblings: Rosie Burk, Jake Cline Robinson, Arthur Cline Robinson, Operee, Janie, Ruby Martin, Thelma Marshall, and Almeda Skinner, as well as one grandson, DeAundre Lamelle Robinson.
