Pastor Steffon Kizine

Steffon Kizine, 58, passed away on September 22, 2024, in Garden City, MO. He was born June 1, 1966, in Kansas City, MO to Bayless Warren Kizine and Marthenya Y. Kizine- Smiley. He grew up in Kansas City, MO.

Steffon graduated from Van Horn High School in Independence, MO. After high school he attended William Jewell College in Liberty, MO where he received a Bachelor’s in Computer Science.

Steffon served our country by joining the Army.

Steffon began working for the USDA as a computer analyst where he worked for 25+ years.

Steffon was involved in a variety of ministries including working with veterans and in the prison system.

Steffon married the love of his life Kim Kizine and were married for 32 years.

Steffon was preceded in death by his father Bayless Warren Kizine, mother-in-law Donna Bell, grandfather Newton Willie Kizine, grandmother Viola Kizine, 2 aunts, and 4 uncles.

Steffon is survived by his mother Marthenya Y. Kizine-Smiley (James), wife Kim Kizine, children: Mario, La’Vion (Carolyn), Brittney, Naomi (Joshua), Antoneo (T’Nesha), and Gary; siblings: Sonya Kizine, Cynthia Morris, Leleon Kizine, Jo Anne Kizine Johnson (Ennis), and Thomas Morris; 20 grandchildren; a host of other relatives, and friends.
