Patricia L. Hayes

Patricia Louise Hayes was born December 8, 1957 in Salisbury, Missouri to the union of Robert Jacobs and Florence (Brown) Jacobs. Both parents preceded her in death.

Cherishing her memories is her devoted husband, Hargett Lee Hayes, Jr.  Patricia and Hargett married on October 26th 1990 after meeting at Grace Temple Pentecostal Church where Patricia was a consistent church and choir member.  Not long after marrying, Brother Hargett and Sister Patricia began attending Greater Pentecostal Temple. Patricia was a devoted wife. You would often see her and Hargett working alongside each other creating delicious meals for churches and communities.  It was rare to see one without the other close around, and she was so loved by the Hayes family!

Patricia was also a dedicated mother, and truly loved her two sons, Donyell and Tony Jacobs and her children-in-love, Hargett Hayes, Dietra Hayes and Jeron Hayes. She also cherished her and Hargett’s grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with all of her family and friends.

Not only was she a prayer warrior for her children, relatives and friends, but she was also a caring homemaker and wife for 33 years, and a very loving sister, aunt and grandmother. She was very close to her one sister, Vicey Tucker who was the oldest of the seven siblings and preceded her in death along with her oldest brother, Donald Jacobs and some of her nieces and nephews.

Patricia L. Hayes entered into her eternal life on September 27, 2023. She leaves to cherish her memory, her supportive and loving husband, Hargett Lee Hayes, Jr., her two sons, Donyell and Tony Jacobs and four brothers, Alfred Eugene Jacobs (Minnie), Anthony Jacobs, David Jacobs and Charles Jacobs, a special niece Luvlee Tucker, and a host other of nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
