Patricia A. Miller, 80, was called home to rest in God’s loving arms on April 26, 2024, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO.

She was born in Charleston, S.C on October 12, 1943, to her loving parents Earl Dinsmore and Essie Dinsmore.

Patricia grew up in Marietta, GA. She joined Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Marietta, GA. at an early age under the leadership of Rev. Dorsey.

She graduated from Boggs academy high school in Keysville, GA. After school she attended Spellman College in Atlanta, GA., Rockhurst University in Kansas City, MO. where she received her bachelor’s degree of Arts and graduated with honors. She also attended Webster University where she received her master’s degree in business.

She began working for the USDA as an Ag Marketing Specialist where she worked for 33 years. She retired in 2011 after 33 years of service. She served as Vice President, Chief Steward of NTU Chapter # 264. Her bold uncompromising leadership ability greatly impacted her co-workers. She excelled well in everything she accomplished.

She married Theodore O. Miller Sr. on August 21, 1972, in Landover, MD. They were happily married for 52 years. Patricia was a very loving wife and mother, as well as a good friend and inspiration to many.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Earl and Essie Dinsmore, daughter Tia Miller Galloway, brother Preston E. Brown, and great grandson Christian Harris.

Left to cherish her memories are: her loving husband Theodore O. Miller Sr., children: Terence R. Hamilton, Twanna M. Hamilton, Deirdre D. Hamilton, Theodore O. Miller Jr., (Alden Estes), siblings: John a. Brown, Shirley L. Prymus, Melynesse E. Brown, and Marion A. Brown. Grandchildren – 18, and great grandchildren – 31. Special friends: Patricia White, Lois Chapman, Viky Reeds, Sherie Hinton-Henry, Paul Overman, a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
