Patrick James Washington, Jr.

Patrick James Washington Jr. was born to Cushena Evans and Patrick Washington Sr. on November 12, 2005, in Shawnee, Kansas. He spent his early years in Kansas attending school in the Wyandotte County School District. Patrick later moved to Texas, where he attended Fulshear High School, before returning to Kansas to continue his education through the YouthBuild Program.

Known to many as Pat Pat, Patrick dedicated his life to the Lord at a young age. He was thoughtful, strong-minded, and quietly ambitious. He was a hustler from a young age. Despite life challenges, he always kept God dear to his heart. Patrick was naturally protective, loving, and dependable. His warm smile, marked by his deep dimple, was unforgettable, and he cherished time spent with family and friends.

Patrick was gifted in all that he touched, from drawing and dancing to athletics. Without formal training, he excelled in basketball, football, and track and field. When Patrick set his mind to something, he pursued it with ease. He enjoyed being with loved ones, playing video games, and dancing, and he brought joy to those around him in ways both big and small.

Patrick was preceded in death by his father, Patrick Washington Sr.; uncles Tyrone Jennings Jr. and Dominique Jennings; cousin Cha’Rese Townsel; and great-grandparents Walter and Isabel Hill, James Dangerfield, Esaw Washington, Tommy Jennings Sr., Bobby Hamilton, and Ollie Gant, all of Kansas City, Kansas.

Patrick leaves to cherish his memory his mother and father, Cushena and Alfonso Evans; sisters: Nevaeh Washington, Trinity Evans, and Serenity Evans; brother, Josiah Evans; grandparents: Tyrone and Debbie Jennings, Patrick and Marcella Washington, and Raja Evans; great grandparents: Gerene Hamilton and Rosemary Washington; aunts: Tyeisha Jennings and Prayshana Washington; uncle, Tyrone Jennings II; and a host of cousins, lifelong friends, and extended family.
