Listen to Obituary

Paula Wallace 71 was born on May 12, 1953, in Kansas City, Kansas, to the late Paul and Janie Williams. She was one of six children and mother of five children. She was a grandmother of five and great-grandmother of five. She was twice retired and a two-time cancer survivor.

She was a member of New Life in Christ International Ministries where she served on the usher board before joining Heart Of God Evangelistic Ministries in Raytown, MO on April 13, 2014, where she was the perfect example of a dedicated mighty woman of God, faithful servant with a giving heart. On September 6, 2019, Paula was ordained as a Deaconess.  She loved serving the community by volunteering at the church food pantry ministry every week.  She also devoted her time to the Little Hearts Academy five days a week. In addition, she served in the ministry of encouragement, where she texted words of encouragements, scriptures, and prayers. She also worked in the hospitality department at her church. She remained positive and trusted God for her healing. She was a mother and an inspiration to many. Deaconess Paula will be greatly missed, but her spirit will remain forever in our hearts. She served the Lord faithfully. "Well done thy good and faithful servant. You've been faithful over a few things. Come, I'll make you ruler over many, for she has fought a good fight and kept the faith!"

Paula transitioned on June 2, 2024.  Preceding her in death her son, Donald (Dj) Harris Jr; her parents, Paul and Janie Williams; her siblings, Bennie (BC) Charles Terrell Jr., Gerald (Jerry) Graves, and Patricia (Tree) Chivers.
