Percy Cannon

Percy Christopher Cannon was born August 24, 1970 in St. Louis Missouri and was raised in Kansas City Missouri. He attended Westport High School and worked at P.F. Chang‘s which was where he last worked and was recognized as one of the best chefs they had.

Percy was a very friendly person and kept it real. He was a strong man who lived his life to the fullest and loved his kids and grandchildren.

Percy passed away on December 11, 2020. He was preceded in death by: his father, Minister Lee Cannon Sr., stepmothers, Francis Cannon, and Marie Cannon; stepbrother, Steve Linson; and Grandmother, Earnestine Jones.

Percy leaves to cherish his love and memory: his wife, Laquinta Cannon; his mother, Wanda Jones-Lord (Eric), sister Lisa Whorton (Shelton); brothers, Elonzo Brock (Daphnie), and Kevin Cannon; step-brother, Charles Lenson; his children, Sabrina Cannon, Kevin Cannon, Stacy Cannon, Akibah Jackson, Sharay Cannon, and Aariahna Nicole French-Jezler; stepchildren, Willie Cole III, Arianna Cole, and Sha’mera Cole; grandchildren, Amiyah Johnson, Avery Johnson, and Ja’kye Jackson; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
