Randy T. Harris, Sr.

Randy Troy Harris Sr., 61, passed away on December 17, 2024, at Saint Luke's Plaza in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born on February 11, 1963, in Independence, Missouri, to Ora Harris. Randy grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, and graduated from Southeast High School in Kansas City.

He worked as an operator at Logo Plaste for 10 years until the time of his passing.

Randy shared a loving relationship with Miranda, his common-law partner of 25 years. The two met in 1999 while working together at Lazer Cycle Ink Cycle, and they had been inseparable ever since. Together, they were blessed with four beautiful children.

Randy had a deep passion for sports, especially football. He was a devoted fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, and he and Miranda enjoyed watching every game together.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Zamayia Harris, his mother Ora Harris, as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Randy is survived by his children: Rhonde Harris, Zakiya Harris, Khalfani Harris, Eric Shaw, Marcus Harris, Randy Troy Harris Jr., Janikkia Harris, and stepdaughter Tarnoria Gilner (fiancé Syndey). He is also survived by his sister-in-law Shavonda Gardner (wife Bodeisha); his brothers Bruce Harris (wife Rena) and Rodney Anderson (wife Shecrese); his aunt Jacqueline Dean; and a host of cherished grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
