Listen to Obituary

Ranika Dysha Hall was born December 29, 1991 to Nicole Hall and Richard Pannell in Kansas City, KS. Ranika was the fourth child of five.

Ranika professed her faith and love of Christ at an early age. She joined New Creation of Faith Ministry under the leadership of Elder Pastor Alonzo Moore.

Ranika was educated through the Kansas City, KS school district and later graduated from the Fairfax Alternative School in 2010. After graduating high school, Ranika attended Donnelly College for Nursing along with Concorde Career College for Medical Assistant. Ranika had plans of establishing a Home Health Agency. Through accomplishing this goal, Ranika could display her interest in the healthcare field along with being a business owner. Ranika’s hobbies included doing hair, acting as a fashion stylist to family and friends, skating, telling jokes, shopping, dancing, and traveling.

On May 29, 2015, Ranika (Devante Lee) gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Auraya Dior Lee. Ranika was a devoted mother who put her daughter first. Ranika’s love for her child was unconditional and un-measurable. Ranika loved spending time with Auraya and Auraya loved spending time with her mother. If you seen Ranika, Auraya wasn’t too far away. She and Auraya enjoyed dancing, listening to music and taking selfies.

Ranika’s paternal Grandmother Eraina Thompson, maternal Grandfather Earl Union, Uncle John Pannell, and a host of cousins all preceded her in death.

Ranika leaves many to cherish her memory including: Maternal Grandparents (Edwin & Brenda Pilcher); Paternal Grandfather (Johnny Pannell); her parents (Nicole Hall & Richard Pannell); Daughter (Auraya Lee), siblings (Daveyon (Joshua Harrison); Eric Hall, Nicarya Hall, Jokwaun Hall, Shayla Nash, Antwuan Pannell, & Aliyah Pannell); two maternal aunts: Brandy (Ortez Smocks), Brittany (James Carter Jr.); one maternal uncle: Edwin Pilcher; nieces (Aliana, Arnieyah, Destiny); nephews (Eric Jr., Samor’yon); special cousins Dorothy Simmons & Sparkle Pilcher; special friends Raeisha Lewis and Jameisha Carr and a host of other friends and family.
