Born to Ritchie and June Fry in Kansas City, Missouri, on November 20, 1989. Rashard was immersed in the culinary field that would be his lifelong support from an early age.
He attended Valley View High School in Blue Springs, Missouri, where he graduated in 2008. He furthered his education at Coffeyville Community College as well as Garden City Community College for business administration.
He had a love for sports. He played T-ball, AAU basketball, and little league in middle school and football in high school.
He worked at several restaurants in the Kansas City area. At the time of his passing, Rashard was employed at Restart Inc. as a chef. His coworkers and associates called him Chef Shard. He was in a catering and lawn service partnership with his best friend Derek (D-Man).
In his leisure time he loved to spend time with his family and traveling. Horror movies, the Chiefs, music, and fishing were his hobbies. He was a very comical person that loved to make others laugh and smile.
Rashard was known by many names: Rock, Gentle Giant, Bodyguard, Strongest Man in the World, and Milk Baby (by Cousin Katrina).
He is survived by his parents: Ritchie (Pops) and June Fry; ten aunts: Kelly, Shelly, Sherri, Lanise, Danielle Fry, Latrece Wilson (Curtis), Martha Fletcher-Mathews (Andrew), Shanese, Katherine Beavers, and Robin Fry; three uncles: Tony (Denisa), Kent Fry, and Lamando Moses; three special brothers: Malik Westmoreland (cousin), Zack, and Derek; a special sister, Jasmine; and nine special uncles.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandmothers: Hallie Fry, Mary Ellis, Albertha Berryhill (GG), and Katherine Payton; great-grandfathers: William Fry and Strawder Ellis; grandmother, Katherine Westmoreland (Granny); grandfathers: William Fry (Pepaw) and William Earl Beavers; and aunts: Schiquita Wilkes and Aretha Westmoreland.
