Ray Sutton

Mr. Ray Sutton was born on February 26, 1961, to R.C. and Cleother Sutton in Chicago, Illinois. He peacefully departed this life on January 6, 2026, at home.

Ray attended Finney High School in Detroit, Michigan and graduated from Job Corps in Springfield, Missouri. He was employed at Truman Medical Center as well as Glennon Place from where he retired.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents, R.C. and Cleother Sutton, his brother, Roy Sutton, his sister, Mary Sutton, and his nephew, Robert Sutton.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of 33 years, Mrs. Willa Sutton; his brothers, Michael Sutton (Yalondaa) and Thomas Calloway (Treva); his children: Eddie Everett (Laquisha Marshall) and their children, Ea'la Monae Everett, Nylah Skye Everett, and Kystonn James Everett; sons, Earl Everett, Corey Everett, Albert Bland and daughter Tonya Bland, along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, dear friends, and some he considered to be his best friends; Bobby Williams, Roy Haliburton and Flip Mize.

Ray will be remembered for his kind spirit, his love for his family and friends, and his diehard team spirit for the Kansas City Chiefs...
