Rebecca Gill

Rebecca Ann Gill, 69, passed away on March 28, 2023 at her residence in Eastwood Crossing, in Kansas City, MO. She was born on July 29,1953 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Robert Lester Minton Sr. and Otha Lee Minton.

She grew up in both Shreveport, Louisiana and Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated in 1972 from Paseo High School in Kansas City, MO. After high school she began working until she found her place at Nitto. She began working for Nitto as a QA where she worked for 29 years.

Rebecca loved God and was a Pastor at Kingdom Word Ministries where she served as a humble servant of God for many years.

She married Jimmy Lee Gill at an early age in the 80’s. They were together for many years.

Rebecca is preceded into death by parents: Robert Lee Minton Sr. and Otha Lee Minton; special friend: Robert Shinault; nephews: Floyd Edwards, and Damion Ward.

She is survived by her children: Alfonso D. Gill Sr., and Lakinna Gill; her siblings: Barbara Edwards, Alice Bell, Annie Todd, Robert Lee Minton Jr., Gwendolyn Minton, and Jeanette Minton; grandchildren: Javielyn Gill, Fonnesha Gill, Jailen Gill, Seleik Gill, Iyanla Combs, Alfonso Gill Jr., Aaqil Gill, Aamir Gill, Aamina Gill, and Aasim Gill; great-grandchildren: Melvin IV, Jazzlyn, Anaya, Journee, and Jaliyah, and a host of other relatives and friends.
