Regina M Whitmore

Regina M. Whitmore, 69, departed this life on March 9, 2018 at Truman Lakewood in Lee’s Summit, Mo. She was born at General Hospital on May 27, 1948 in Kansas City, Mo to Theodore R. Scott and Gladys Oliver. She grew up in Kansas City, Mo. She received her education in the Kansas City Missouri Public School District and graduated from Southeast High School in 1966. After high school she attended UMKC in Kansas City, Mo and received a degree in Business Accounting. She began working for the IRS as a Tax Examiner where she worked for 25 years. She was involved in Boys and Girls Scouts of America. Regina married Michael Whitmore, Sr., on March 26, 1965. They were happily married for 51 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Galdys Moss, Theodore Scott; husband, Michael Whitmore, Sr., son Myron Whitmore; daughter, Myra Cannon Whitmore, brother, Theodore Durham Scott.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories, one son, Michael Whitmore, Jr., two brothers, Theone Scott, Ricky R. Scott, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
