Reginald (Reggie)Vaughn Hudson , 62, of Kansas City, Missouri departed this world March 16, 2018. Reginald was born May 13, 1955 to the union of Reverend A.M. Sr. and Mildred Hudson. Reginald was the second of seven sons, Andrew, Tyrone, Daniel, Isaac, Edwin and Edgar, and sister Gloria.
Reginald accepted Christ at an early age. He was baptized by his father, Reverend A.M Hudson Sr. who Pastored Progressive M. B. Church.
Reginald was educated in the Kansas City, Missouri public school district. He graduated from Southeast High School in 1973. He received his Bachelors degree in Retail Design from Kentucky State University, where he became a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.
Reginald spent many of his days using his melodious voice singing in gospel choirs, including the Michael Charles Singers, a California touring gospel choir, Kentucky State Gospel Choir, with whom he also toured the country, and the father of gospel James Cleveland.
Reginald loved his family and was know as the family historian. He passed along many memories of the Hudson-Johnson family history that helped keep the family connected to their past.
Reginald was preceded in death by his parents, Reverend A.M. Sr. and Mildred Hudson, his brothers Daniel Hudson and Edgar Hudson, and his sisters Gertrude, Juanita and Gloria Hudson.
He is survived by former spouse Mary Hudson-Kimbrough, sons Daniel Kimbrough and Dontaee (Tiffani) Hudson, brothers Andrew Hudson Jr., Tyrone Hudson (Kyena), Isaac Hudson (Marseill), and Edwin Hudson, sister Ruth, grandchildren, Prisillaa, Dontaee Jr., Jon-Michael, Jacob, Jenesis and a host of nieces and nephews.
