Listen to Obituary

Ricky A. “Lil Ricky” Williams, 40 years old, departed this earthly life to be with The Lord on May 1st, 2022.  Lil Ricky was born to the union of Ricky A. Williams, Sr and Karen J. “Ducy” Williams in Weisbaden, Germany.

Ricky attended his early childhood education in Ft. Riley, KS.  He later attended middle and High School in both Kansas City, Ks and Kansas City, MO.  With the dedication and the will to grow in life he acquired his GED diploma at Denbigh Educational center in Newport News, VA.

Lil Ricky had a knack for fashion.  The man loved to get “geared” up for any occasion and thought he owned the room.  His mom always called him “pretty Ricky”.  He was always laughing and joking.  He LIVED life to its fullest and you could tell whenever you saw him.  His contagious smile always implied he was enjoying and living life.  After moving to Kentucky, he really began to understand the meaning of life and love.  His heart was steadily on his family that he loved dearly.

Ricky held many jobs in both KCMO & Lexington, KY.  Research Medical Center is one of the most favorable and memorable employments he held right before moving to Kentucky.  His last position was with Xooker cleaning company for Mr. Conrad R. Carney II until his unexpected passing.

Ricky had many hobbies and cooking was one he had a great gift for.  If “ACCENT” seasoning had a spokesperson he definitely would be one!  You could not argue a recipe and win with him.

Oh, how to know Ricky is to know he was a big affectionate, loveable, goofy, joking, trash talking gentle giant with an enormous smile.  You could never forget that LOUD boisterous, obnoxious, contagious laugh.   Oh, my o my how it will all be forever missed.

He was an avid KC sports fan that never missed a chance to rep his city wherever he was.  So, if you had a sports event and you invited him to it?  It would a well-placed bet that he would show up in his KC gear and show out! #GOCHIEFS #GOROYALS

Sadly, Ricky was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Richard C. Williams Sr., and John O. Sanders, Paternal Grandmother Mary E. Sanders, infant brother Rashad A. Williams, Aunts Alfreda Williams and Mary Robinson.

Lil Ricky leaves to cherish his memories, both parents, stepmother Sharon Williams. His sons Terry Edwards, Ra’Colby A. & RaShad A. Williams, daughter Ri’Niyah A. Coomer.  Sibling sisters Rickeasha L. Williams, Reneta N. Blanks, Remesha S. Williams, Resasha N. Williams, and RaTasha A. Williams.  Sibling brother Randy A. Williams and a brother by another mother, Damian Thruston (best friend) and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

-Ricky will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
