Rico J. Anderson was born on September 15, 1970. He was born to Brenda Kaye Anderson and Courtney H. Anderson. He was raised in Kansas City, Missouri, and attended Raytown South High School before transferring to Central High School in Kansas City, Missouri.
Rico obtained his GED in 2003. Upon completion, he held multiple jobs in warehousing and construction. Recently, he worked alongside with his brother and best friend at Lineage in Olathe, Kansas, as a certified forklift driver. In his free time, Rico had a passion for writing poetry, cigar dates with the fellas, watching football with his brother and nephew, and firing up the grill (cooking was his way of showing his love) and sharing laughter with family and friends.
Rico departed his life on December 31, 2024. His parents, Brenda Kaye Anderson and Courtney H. Anderson preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his three daughters, Ricoya A., Shanetta A., and Shantell W. (James E), three siblings, Janine A., Kellen Sr., and Leticia Brown, his grandchildren that brought him joy, Deariyon S., Daiyon S., Adrianne A., James E., Chloe E., Aubrielle E., Karlie E., and Paisley, three nephews, Jaheim A., Kellen Jr., and Makai L., his loving nieces, Diamond L., Anisa A., Mila A., and Kyndall A., and a host of other close friends colleagues and relatives.
