Rita Fleeks

Rita C. Fleeks, 69, passed away on December 17, 2020 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. She was born on October 30, 1951 in Kansas City, MO to Ruth Stapleton and Samuel Brown. She grew up in Kansas City, MO. She graduated from Central High School in Kansas City, MO. After high school she worked at Wilcox in the shipping department for 25 years where she retired. She was preceded in death by: her mother, Ruth Stapleton; father, Samuel Brown; brother, Randal Cason; and nephew, LaVerne Fleeks.

She is survived by: her children, Alfred Fleeks; Kenda (Jesse) Moore; Alysia (David) Wright; and Vaughn (Marie) Fleeks; grandchildren, Alysia Alder, Jesse Moore Jr., Lexus Darnell, Ramon Moore, Paris Darnell, Kamrie Darnell, Jasmine Carter, Jaymohn Moore, and Jayla Moore; great-grandchildren, Raleigh J., Cali K., Brian L., Taylor B., Blake M., Londyn S., Paige M., and Eamon S.; brothers, William, Daniel, and Charles Cason; sisters, Linda F., Brenda H., Ruth B., and Patrica K.; her special friends, George Murphy and Catherine Irvin. “We will miss you Dearly Granny Rita”
