Robert Lee Hill was born on January 10, 1951 to Charles Hill and Ruth Hill, in Independence, Missouri. Both parents, grandparents, Prince and Callie Hill; grandparents, Eligah and Martha Bridgett; one daughter, Robinette Hill; his brothers, James Rufus, Charles Jr., Eddie, and Kenneth; and two sisters, Martha Simmons and Marie Drew all preceded him in death. Robert departed this life on August 15, 2020.
Robert was the thirteenth child of fifteen children; twelve boys and three girls. He later made Kansas City, Missouri his home. Robert was educated in the Kansas City Missouri Public Schools. As an adult, he owned detail shops, he loved to Bar-B-Que, and also spend time with family. In 2010, Robert gave his life to the Lord. Robert was the type of man that would give the shirt off his back. He loved the Kansas City Chiefs and enjoyed listening to Frankie Beverly and Maze.
Robert is survived by two sons, Rev. Anthony L. (Dr Dreylana) Taylor Sr., of Oklahoma City, OK, and Robert (LaRosa) Hill Sr., of Kansas City, MO; four grandchildren, Anthony L. Taylor Jr., Darrious Taylor, Tau’ian Bly, and Robert D. Hill Jr; three brothers, Eligah (Lavern) Hill, Willie (Delores) Hill, and Henry (Ceile) Hill; one sister, Anna (King) Williams all of Kansas City, MO. He also leaves behind over 300 nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
