Robert James Lee

Robert James Lee, 70, passed away on December 3, 2022, in Kansas City, MO. He was born on January 3, 1952, in Eudora, Arkansas to Jorden Lee and Bessie McMahon.

Robert grew up in Kansas City and graduated from Paseo High School. After graduating high school, he attended the University of Missouri at Kansas City (UMKC) where he received an associate degree in Business.

Robert worked for AT&T; the Lyric Opera of Kansas City; and Paseo Baptist Church for 17 years.

Robert was a member of Faith Fellowship Baptist Church, and he sang in different choirs for many years. Some of Robert’s interests included watching sports and spending time with family.

On May 24, 1973, Robert married Sharon Lee in Kansas City, MO. They were happily married for 30 years.

Preceding Robert in death are his wife, Sharon Lee; his parents, Jordan, and Bessie Lee; siblings, Ella Gaskin, Odella Watson, William Singleton, Dorothy Rouser, Margaret Wilson, Richard Lee, James Lee, Louvenia Lee, Bessie Lee, Magnolia Lee, and Clarence Lee.

Left to cherish a lifetime of memories are his children, James Lee, Sr., Jason Lee, Sr., and Jamarr Lee, Sr.; siblings, Jordan Lee, Gertrude Williams, Ruthie Thomas, Altha Trotter, Irma Palmer, Shirley Hudson, and Jerry Lee; grandchildren, Alexis, James Jr., Chanel, Jonisha, Coriana, Anthony, Alyssa, Jayia, Jordyn, Jason Jr., Jamarr Jr., and Dakyra; and a host of other relatives and friends.
