Robert Wesley Moore Jr. was born March 10, 1984. The eldest child of Robert Wesley Moore Sr. and Diedra Henderson.
From a young age, Robert embraced his faith, accepting Christ early in life and being baptized at Bread of Life Outreach Ministries in Christ under the leadership of Leroy Sullivan.
A graduate of Schlagle High School, Robert was an enthusiastic member of the school’s marching band and completed his studies in 2002. He carried that same passion and dedication into fatherhood. From his cherished relationship with his high school sweetheart, Chiquita Mays, Robert welcomed two children into this world, Alexis and Robert III. He later welcomed another beloved child, Ryan Moore, from a separate relationship.
Robert worked as a steel worker at Brown and Strauss for 19 years, demonstrating unwavering commitment and resilience. At the age of 38, he made the difficult decision to retire in order to focus on managing his health.
Known for his selflessness and generous spirit, Robert had a gift for conversation and a smile that could light up any room. He deeply loved his children, family, and friends.
Among those closest to him was his only brother, Dwayne Moore. Their bond was more than brotherhood—it was a lifelong partnership. Where you found Robert, you found Dwayne; the two were truly inseparable. Robert was also a passionate football fan and was a die hard and never a bandwagon, Chiefs fan. You can count on Rob to cheer them on whether they were winning or losing.
Robert departed this life on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.
