Robert Williams was born to Robert Turner and Allene (Williams) Blair in Kansas City MO. Robert’s parents and sister Vickie Younes preceded him in death.

He lived in Kansas City MO, where he graduated from high school. Robert attended college in Warrensburg, MO and later returned to Kansas City MO. Robert enjoyed playing basketball, he played in high school, college, and in the military. He was known to be an exceptionally talented player.

At an early age, Robert worked at Crown Center as a sou chef.

Robert went on to serve this nation by joining the United States Army. He traveled to several countries before retiring from the Army, then he returned to Kansas City MO.

He worked to obtain his associate degree from Park University. Robert also earned a position with the Missouri Veterans Commission, helping other military families acquire their benefits and retirement from the state of Missouri.

Even though Robert retired, he continued to work multiple jobs. He enjoyed working and could not sit around the house without doing something. Due to health reasons, he was forced to resign from work.

Robert served GOD in multiple ministries: Deacon Board, Sunday School Teaching, Nursing Home Ministry and Street Ministry. He served under these men of God: Bishop John Birmingham, (Peace Patrol), Pastor George Westlake III (Pastor Mike Tosspon-Mercy Ministries), Emeritus Raymond Davis, Pastor Eric Roberson GCCC, and Bishop Bruce Walker New Hope COTC.

Robert was very friendly and served others with kindness. He enjoyed praying with others and telling people about God. God allowed him to serve in ministries with his wife.

Robert leaves to cherish his memories with his wife Felicia, son Carnell Earvin Jr. (Sarah); brothers: Marcus and Kevin Blair (Sonya); aunts: Christine Roscoe, Shirley Briscoe, Lelia Williams, and Dolly Ward, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
