Ronald Hutchinson

Ronald E. Hutchinson, Sr., 67, passed away on July 18, 2019 at St. John Hospital in Leavenworth, Kansas.  He was born on March 21, 1952 in Atchison, Kansas to John Henry Hutchinson, Sr., and Naomi E. Bratton Hutchinson.  He grew up in Leavenworth, Kansas, and graduated from Leavenworth High School, Class of 1970. After high school he attended Florida State University in Ft. Davis, Panama.  He joined the Army in 1974 and served for 13 years. During his time, he achieved the rank of Sargent. He began work for Lansing Correctional Facility as a corrections Officer where he worked for 36 years.  He retired in 2017 after 36 years. He married Patricia E. Regist in July 2, 1977 in Rainbow City, Panama. They were happily married for 36 years.

Ronald was preceded into death by his wife; Patricia E. Hutchinson in November 2013.

He is survived by his parents; John H. Hutchinson, Sr., and Naomi Hutchinson, his sons; Ronald E. Hutchinson, Jr., John P. Hutchinson (Shannon), his siblings; John H. Hutchinson, Jr. (Ramona), and Sharon Thompson, his grandchildren; Catelyn Joy Patricia Hutchinson, and John Michael Hutchinson, his girlfriend; Cressie Roberson, and a host of other relatives and friends.
