Ronald Young Ii

Ronald L. Young, II, 41 passed away on April 30, 2021 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born on September 3, 1979 in Kansas City, Kansas to Ronald L. Young Sr. and Valerie L. Warren. He was their only child.

Ronald grew up in Kansas City, Kansas and graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1998. After high school, he attended the Area Vocational Technical School in Kansas City, Kansas, where he received a certificate in computer technology. Ronald worked various jobs throughout the Kansas City area: Montgomery Wards, Walmart, the McFarland Group, Swift, H&R Block, JCPenney, O’Reilly Auto Parts, Family Dollar, with the most recent company being Circle K Convenience Store. Ronald also worked many night clubs throughout Kansas City as a bouncer, which he truly enjoyed.

Ronald was baptized at an early age at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church by the late Rev. William H. Vaughn.

Ronald married Atanya Latrese Barnes on April 30, 2006. To this union Cheyenne Tranice Nicole Young was born. The marriage was dissolved in 2013. Ronald later married Ciara Nicole Chandler on September 28, 2013. To this union, Sydnei Dior Santece Young was born.

Ronald passed away on April 30, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald L. Young, Sr., grandparents, John C. Warren, Sr., Shirley Clarke, Bettye Young, Sydney and Jeannie Black.

Ronald is survived by his Mother, Valerie Warren; Wife, Ciara Young; Children, Cheyanne, Sydnei, Davion, Thomas, LeAnthony, Kemari, and Darrion all of Kansas City, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri; Maternal Grandmother, Beverly J. Warren; Paternal Grandfather, Roy S. Young, Sr.; Father in Law, AC Tolbert; Mother in Law, Mary Hunter; Special Friends, Atanya Barnes-Young, Brian Wilmore and a host of uncles, aunts, relatives and friends.
