Ronald Jordan

Mr. Ronald Louis Jordan, respectfully known as "Ronnie" was born January 27,1961 in Freeport, Illinois to the union of John Jack Jordan and Ruby Holley.  He was the youngest of 8 children.  He departed this life on Saturday, October 8, 2022.

At the age of 13, Ronald "Ronnie" dedicated his life to Christ and was baptized at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Freeport, Illinois. He grew in his walk expressing love to his family, friends and to everyone he met.

Ronnie graduated from Freeport High School, class of 1979. He then moved to Kansas City to attend Electronics Trade School. Ronnie worked at Dick Smith's Ford, UPS and last position at KCATA as a Bus Operator.  He enjoyed working on cars, listening to music, dancing, singing and playing drums for local Kansas City bands. Ronnie married Laverne Briscoe in November 1983. He later met Angela Ezell and married in August 1991.

Ronnie beloved his eight children:  Orian Jordan, Ronald Louis Jordan, Jr., Anita Chattic, LaRon Jordan, Patrice Jordan, Roderick Davis, Jr., Ashley "Coco" Davis and Andrea "NaNa" Davis.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents John Jack Jordan and Ruby Jordan; Three Sisters: Louise Davis, Mary Brown, Suzanne Jordan. one son Roderick Davis jr

He will be missed deeply, leaving fond memories to two Brothers: John Jordan,II, (Betty) Dennis Jordan (Myra); two Sisters, Alma Jordan, Diane Taylor; seven children, Orian, Ronald, Jr., Anita, LaRon, Patrice, Ashley, Andrea; ten grandchildren, Khary, Eldon, Jynnejah, Jazmend, Marcuise, Jaydis, Josiah,Ryanna, Aaliyah, Ayden; one great grandson, Kaden and a host of relatives, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
