Ronald Parks

Ronald Parks was born on February 2, 1948, to Zenobia Ewans Evers and Roy Parks in Holly Grove, Arkansas.

Ronald grew up in Holly Grove, AR. He graduated from Holly Grove High School, moving to Kansas City later in life. Ronald was full of life, always cracking jokes and making everyone smile. He had a witty sense of humor and tell it like it was candor. Never one to stay in one place too long, Ronald was an over the road truck driver and later in life was a supervisor with Proshot Concrete traveling from state to state for work. Ronald was still working at the time of his transition, often saying he had to stay busy because he would surely be gone from this earth if he was not working.

Ronald departed this life on December 3, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, James Evers; daughter, Wanda Coleman; grandchildren, Kandilynn, Camora, and Tracey Taylor.

Ronald leaves to cherish his memory: one sister, Deborah; daughters, Karen Woodfox (Raymond), Carol Robinson (AJ), Rhonda Jones, Shelly Parks, Ronica Ollison, Kalai Parks, and Angelic Hunter; 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, one great great-grandchild, special cousin, Dorothea Brittman, and a host of cousins and friends.
