Roosevelt Mitchell

Roosevelt Mitchell, 45, departed this life on October 20, 2024, at his home in Kansas City, Missouri.  He was born on November 28, 1978, in Long Beach, California to Roosevelt Abercrombie, Jr., and Angela Mitchell.

He moved to Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 13 and attended Westport High School. After high school he had several jobs, but his most recent job was working for Chewy as a laborer.

Roosevelt was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, and his sisters, Shannon Abercrombie, and Ramona McReynolds.

He leaves to cherish his memories his father, Roosevelt (Ruthelle) Abercrombie of Kansas City, Missouri, his sisters, Keisha Mitchell of Los Angeles, California, Antoinette (Sulaiman) Salaam of Peculiar, Missouri, LaDonna (Will) Bowles of Raytown, Missouri, his step brothers and sisters, Ronald King of Kansas City, Missouri, Carmen (Earnest)McReynolds of Kansas City, Missouri, Vanetta (Ronald) King of Temple, Texas, Stephanie Glast of Kansas City, Missouri, a special nephew, Kevin McReynolds of Kansas City, Missouri, and a special friend, Andrea Williams of Kansas City, Missouri.
