Rosa Marie Reid

Ms. Rosa Marie Reid, daughter, sister, mother, and friend, was born July 28,1963. She was a kind and strong woman. Rosa, "Rosie" as we called her, started her Journey to salvation on August 12, 2025.

She was born a special child with special needs, but with alot of love and determination she overcame. Rosie graduated from Bishop Hogan High School in 1981. 

Later in life, Rosie was blessed to be the mother of three beautiful children, Dwayne, Latasha, and Essence. She was passionate and warmhearted with children. She had the most beautiful smile that lit up the sky. She was a determined woman, not to be taken lightly. She beat her own drum and ventured her own path in life. Rosie was also fun loving. To walk on Miss Rosie's good side, just bring her a Pepsi, a Mr. Goodbar, a Payday, or a pack of smokes. With Rosie, family was always family, and a friend was forever a friend. 

Rosie was preceded in death by both loving parents Roberta L. Reid, and Samuel L. Bush; and her awesome brother, Samuel L. Reid. 

She will always be remembered by her three children, and four grandchildren, Dwayne Sr. (Dwayne Jr. and Savion), Latasha and Essence, (Ryleighand Amari); sister, Kellye (Dennis Sr. and Timmeka); brothers, Samuel deceased (Briea), and Robert (Kandice, Robert Jr. and Dontae); ten great nephews and nieces, Dennis Jr, Desirae, Jordan, Baeliey, Aubrie, Cyncere, Harmony, Heaven, Taylen and Miani Renee; a special friend, Michael Thomas; a best friend, Nae Jones, and wide host of living family and beautiful friends.
