Rosalind Y. Boyd, Moore, Bartlett, know as "Roz," entered this life on May 9, 1944 in Kansas City, MO to Otis Boyd and Fern Nave. She departed this life on September 17, 2019. She was the second child of two children to this union. She had a brother Larry Boyd and they proceeded her in death.
She was educated in Kansas City, Mo Catholic Schools starting at St. Monica and she graduated from Redemption Catholic School.
She started working at Western Electric which later changes to (Luncent Technologies). She
enjoyed working there for 30 plus years and retired.
She was raised in the Catholic faith all her life. She was a faithful member at St. Louis Catholic Church for 40 plus years. She served as a Choir member for 35 plus years, Eucharistic minister, Pastoral council, Altar Rosary sorority, Diocesan Council of Catholic women, Lady's Auxilary Knight of Peter Claver, and Volunteering at Research Hospital.
She was united in marriage to Albert Moore and to this union, she was blessed with two sons, Dr. Keith and Jay Moore. Albert Moore proceeded her in death.
ln 1996, Rosalind met and later married Thomas Bartlett Jr., and to this union no children were born but she gained two daughters (Adreene and Coleene) and 2 step-sons (Thomas B and Thomas J).
Roz enjoyed baking, beautiful birthday cakes her family and friends. She enjoyed tennis, crochets, ceramics, traveling, gardening, sewing, fishing, and bowling, She bowled with a team called "Lucky Four." She bowled in tournaments all over the United States. She was a devoted wife, mother and friend and showed everyone lots of love and respect.
Rosalind leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband, Thomas Bartlett Jr., four sons,
Dr. Keith Moore (Louisville, GA), Jay Moore, Thomas Bartlett Ill, Thomas Jenkins, (KCMO), two
daughters, Adreene Bartlett and Coleene Carter (KCMO), eight grandchildren, Shawnell Duntin of Macon, GA, Jayla Grayson, Janae Grayson, Kezia Wesley, Cyan Moore, Skyler Moore, Stephen Carter, Stephanee Carter, and nine great grandchildren. She also leaves of host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
