Roscoe K. McGill Jr.

Roscoe K. McGill Jr., 63, passed away on July 30, 2025, at his home in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born on August 14, 1962, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Roscoe A. McGill Sr. and Shirley McGill.

He grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, and attended Southwest High School in Kansas City, Missouri.

He was employed by B&G Maintenance as a janitor and later retired due to health reasons.

He married Tiffany Ward-McGill on December 31 in Overland Park, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roscoe A. McGill Sr.; mother, Shirley McGill; brothers, John McGill and Ronald McGill; and sister, Deborah Farris.

He is survived by his wife, Tiffany Ward-McGill; his four children: Roscoe Pierre McGill III, Keion McGill, Tearia McGill, and Brittnee McGill; bonus children DeVonte’ Dace and Malik Butler; sister Roxan Wallace (Reginald); brother Gregory O’Neal (Gail); five grandchildren: Zierre Thompkins, Chase Dale, Rhyere Ford, Reign McGill, and RaMiere Ford; five nieces: Kisha Dooley (Gary), Dominique Robinson, LaNaya Farris, Michelle Escalante, and Lynell Mack (Elvis); six nephews: Maurice Whitebear, Ronald Whitebear (Ember), John Thomas (Amanda), LaMont Whitebear, Kevin Robinson, and Anthony McGill; and a host of other relatives and friends.
