Russell Hubbert, 50, of Kansas City, Missouri was born to Edna M. (Bigham) Hubbert and the late Willie L. Hubbert on September 9, 1969. He was the fourth of seven children, and departed this life on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Saint Luke’s Hospice House.
Russell confessed his life to Christ at an early age and was baptized. He was self-employed as a mechanic working with his father until his passing in 2006. He lived his life to the fullest taking every day as if it was his last, touching the hearts and souls of everyone he came in contact with. Russell never met a stranger as is evident in the memories shared of his life by both family and friends.
Russell is survived by his mother, Edna M. Hubbert; siblings, Dwayne Hubbert, David L. Hubbert (Latasha), Daniel A. Hubbert, William Morgan, Monique Wattree, and Lee Gleason all of Kansas City, Missouri; his sisters, Paulette Hubbert of Woodbridge, VA and Anetra K. Hunter(Ray Charles) of Blue Spring, MO; and his brother, Leroy Hubbert of Sherwood, AR. He also leaves behind a host of host nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.
