Ruth Granger

Ruth Granger, 94, affectionately known as “Momma Ruth”, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2017 at her home in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. She was born on October 30, 1922 in Steeles, Missouri to Isaac and Mary (Massey) Timberlake.

Mother Granger married Otto Bert Granger on June 6, 1953, who precedes her in death. She became a member of Hatchett Temple Church of God in Christ in Michigan City, Indiana, in 1944 faithfully serving in various capacities until 2001. She later moved with her daughter, where she united with Trinity Temple Church of God in Christ, in Grandview Missouri.

Mother Granger leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memories, her daughter; Pamela Gaston of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, sister; Roberta Gayden of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, three grandchildren; Henry Garner, Jr., and Tenny Zahn of Kansas City, Missouri, and Victoria Gaston of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; nine great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
