Samuel Anderson III was born December 10, 1970, to Samuel and Venetta Anderson at K.U. Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas., the youngest of three children. He departed this life peaceably on July 26, 2022, in Kansas City, Missouri.
He accepted Christ as a child and was baptized under the leadership of Reverend O. L. Cobbins at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Kansas City, Kansas.
He attended Transparent Church under the leadership of the late Pastor Randolph Cobbins, his brother in love, that departed 7 and half months prior to Sam’s transition.
He attended Douglas Elementary, Central Middle School, and F. L. Schlagle H. S. all in the Kansas City, Kansas Public School District.
He loved “The Dotte” and could take others on a tour that spoke to the rich history of Wyandotte County that was ever fresh each time he spoke about it.
Sam was just fun to be around, he was very outgoing, loved to socialize and could always be found smiling, laughing, telling jokes, along with spending time with family and friends. He loved sports, especially playing basketball with his nephews. He was an avid reader that loved music and to dance. He often was found with his earbuds on listening to his favorite songs. He loved nature and would spend time outdoors taking long walks before retiring for the day. He thrived on being a positive vibe to all he encountered which he used to keep himself motivated. With this motivation, he turned it into a passion for people by visiting the elderly and witnessing in the trenches of life to those that were less fortunate.
He worked several different jobs in Kansas and Missouri over the years. His most recent career change was starting his own entrepreneurship through Z-Trip.
