Listen to Obituary

Sandra D. Cole was born March 24, 1961. She was a lifelong resident of Kansas City, Missouri and attended Westport High School. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Cole and Emma Lee Griffin.

Sandra was a child of God and her life reflected it.  She was a humble servant eager to please the Lord.  Taught by her mother from an early age, she grew up loving Jesus deeply and affectionately.  Always reciting one of her favorite scriptures, “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me” (Psalm 51:10).

Sandra shared that passion with her four children, multiple grandchildren that she loved dearly, and with many others along the way.  She always prayed people saw less of her and more of Him.  She was willing to listen and talk about anything. She would be wherever she was needed, willing to be used by God in whatever way He saw fit.  Sandra truly reflected the spiritual meaning of her name—Helper of Mankind.

Sandra saturated herself with the word of God in the mornings and loved spending time with her Heavenly Father before anything else.  She enjoyed attending church and doing whatever needed to be done in each ministry she was involved in.  Sandra touched so many lives with her singing, her laughter, her charity, her cooking, her words and much more.  She wouldn’t take credit for any of it, but would give God the honor, praise, and glory for all of it.  And now for eternal paradise she will sing a new song for her Lord and Savior.  Rejoicing continuously, entering His gates with shouts of joy.

Thank you, mom, for your unconditional love.

We will see you soon.  We love you!
