Sarah Hardman

Sarah Lee Hardman, 82, passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on April 23, 2025, in Kansas City, Mo.

She was born on May 28, 1942, in Shreveport, LA, to Lucille Smallwood and Ernest Jefferson. She retired from St. Luke’s Health System (Plaza) after dedicating 35 years of service in Triage, nursing units and the Resident Clinic.

She was a woman of poise, style and grace. Most importantly, she was a woman of faith. Sarah attended Memorial Church International, for over 30 years. Sarah leaves to cherish her memory: three children, Shirley Clinton of Lawrenceville, GA, Jeffrey Hardman and Stacey Hardman of Kansas City, MO; one sibling, Creola Battle, 16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends whom she loved.
