An athlete, a leader, humble, loving, passionate; these words describe none other than, Sarai Rhianna Clark. Born on July 27, 2007 to Dale Clark Jr. and Kayla (Hill) Clark, she is the oldest of four children and she made a major impact on her family, her school and her community. Although she left this world too soon, she will be reunited with loved ones who preceded her in death which include great-grandparents, Bert Taylor Jr., Katie Bledsoe, Elmarie Clark, Mevran Jules (Tracey) Boudreaux, Beverly Hill; uncle, Dalerick Williams and cousins, Stephon Cunningham (Agee) Sr. and Duan Bryant, Jr.
Sarai was educated in the RayPec school district, graduating in the class of 2025. Sarai comes from a family of athletes and her accomplishments were many. In school she played basketball, track and field, and flag football. She was a standout among other athletes achieving many medals and awards. She was a state champion in the 4x1 relays and was 3rd in the state of Missouri in the shot put, 5th in the Nation in AAU track and field. Sarai was a team player! She was well respected among her peers and if a game was being played, in just about any sport, you wanted HER on your team! After high school she received a full ride scholarship to North Central Missouri College to play flag football. YES! Flag football because she was a beast on the field! She was looking forward to the Spring season to make her mark on the college world but GOD had other plans.
Sarai accepted Christ at an early age and was baptised at This Rock Christian Tabernacle Church in Kansas City, Missouri. She also was a great praise dancer. She danced in worship at many churches throughout the city. She enjoyed dancing with her sister and cousins, it was a family affair.
Sarai loved, loved, loved her family. They were very important to her. She and her Dad shared a special father-daughter relationship that she cherished. She comes from a very big family and she loved spending time with them at family gatherings, during the holidays or anytime they would gather together at their Nana’s house and also at Grandma’s house, it was a guaranteed good time.. She also loved to cook and was becoming a great chef in her own right. Sarai enjoyed all kinds of music and would break out in a beat box rhythm whenever the mood hit her.
Heaven welcomes our athlete, our daughter, our sister, our cousin and our friend. Our hearts are heavy with sadness but we know that heaven has received an angel!
