All hail the Queen! Sharon Evette Drone was born Aug. 9, 1972 to her loving parents Singleton Wells Sr. and Paula Wells in Kansas City, MO. She is the second child of four. Growing up she had a love for education and always pushed others to be the best that they could be. As a child her nickname was “Sugar” because she always had something sweet, and now, she is still known for not only having sweets but for her sweet spirit.
Sharon began her career at City Hall at the tender age of 14 where she later retired. She was a recipient of the Girl Scouts Gold Award (highest honor) and was a student on the Who’s Who Among Americans High Schools for three consecutive years. Sharon graduated from Central High School in 1990. On March 20, 1994 she married the love of her life, Cleveland Drone. In 1998 she became an entrepreneur as she opened Magic Steps Early Childhood Learning Center.
Her passion for children still remained even after its closing. In July of 2008 she became the First Lady of Bethel International Center of Worship and stayed faithful to her church until she was called home.
