Sharon Delois Garlington

Sharon Delois Garlington, 66, was born March 21, 1953 in Kansas City, Kansas to Elmo Garlington and the late Athlene Canady Garlington, one brother Glenn Allen Garlington and one sister Zepherine Busby also preceded her in death.

Sharon was educated in the Public Schools of Kansas City MO. And graduated from Manuel High School class of 1972. Sharon was a faithful member of Corinthian Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend B.G. Roberson for many years, and later with Genesis Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Lesley Winfield where she served on the Usher Board.

Sharon worked for the Kansas City, MO School district for 18 years from which she retired. On Tuesday February 4, 2020, Sharon departed her earthly home to go on to be with the Lord.

She leaved to cherish he memory: father; Elmo Garlington Sr., one daughter, Tammie Winters, two sons; Donzell and Antwan Garlington all of Kansas City MO., three sisters; Anita Garlington, Shelia Holmes, Mary Garlington, brothers; Elmo Garlington Jr, Walter Garlington, six grandchildren; Johnta Garlington, Monterial Garlington, Marquese Garlington, Tyell Garlington, Antwan Garlington Jr, Aleecia Garlington, a best friend Zoe Was of many years, and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
