Listen to Obituary

Shar’Vron (Shay) Darrese Washington-Staymate was born July 1, 1989, in Kansas City, Missouri to Darryl and Sherese Washington. She passed away on February 27, 2018 in Cut Bank, Montana. She graduated from Rosemount High School in 2007. She attended Mcnally Smith College of Music from 2008-2009. Minneapolis Community and Technical College from 2009-2010. She married Frank Staymate in 2012 in Cut Bank, Montana. Shay absolutely loved the outdoors, beautiful scenery and mountains.

“ Shay”

Shar’Vron (Shay’s) life philosophy was to live and be free of things that ties us to a materialist view point. Shay enjoyed and appreciated going playing laser tag, hiking, festivals, road trips, museums, star gazing, go kart, tattoo shops, thrift stores, camping, watching the sun rise…..this was fun for Shay. Shay once posted on her media page a quote that describe her as a young vibrate woman, “A woman who speaks with her own voice, walked her own path fiercely, talked with grace and dignity, and she most defiantly dance to the rhythm of her own drum”. Shay loved god first and then her family and friends with love and respect. This was Shay!

Shay had a caring heart. She was a person of standard and wisdom beyond her years. Most people that met her would tell her she has an old soul, or that she had been here on earth before. Shay was kind to all that really knew her. Her compassion for life and living you could see through her smile, how she spoke to people, and most importantly how she treated people.

Proceeded in death is her husband Frank Staymate, father Darryl Washington, Mother Sherese Washington-Roble, and Grandmother Sharon R. Campbell-Marshall, Great-Grandmother Bobbie J. Campbell, Aunt Carla Ellis, Uncle Donnie Dumas, Great Aunt Sarah A. Campbell, Great Aunt Annette, Great Uncle & Aunt Loinel and Sheryl Fleming, and Great Uncle Darron K. Campbell; with a host of other family and Friends
