Listen to Obituary

Shaun De’Angelo Norton, 30, passed away on September 25, 2018 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born on January 4, 1988 in Kansas City, Missouri to Lyle Davis, II., and Peggy Ann Mitchem. He was educated in the Hickman Mills School District and graduated from Ruskin High School in Kansas City, Missouri.

Shaun began working for Norton Lawn & Tree as a where he worked for a while.

Shaun was involved in many things. He loved his family and had a huge impact on everyone he came in contact with. He loved to be the laugh of the party. He always brightened up the room, you could always tell when he was in the room because he was never quiet. He loved cars, motorcycles, 4 wheelers, and dirt bikes. Whatever had a motor and some type of speed he would jump on it. As a kid Shaun would ride his bike around to all the garage sales and “come back with a cart full of junk” as his mother would say.

On February 16, 2016 Shaun married Janise Norton in Branson, Missouri. They were happily married for 2 years.

May 2016, his life changed forever as he brought a beautiful baby girl into this world. He had a new reason to live, Jamylia Rosa Lee Norton. His daughter was the highlight of his life. He loved to take her and his stepson (Je’Derrion) places to go enjoy themselves. Most of the time he had more fun than them. Shaun and his wife were always on the go together. He loved to show her a good time, with going out to eat all the time, going out with friends and family. He always lived his life to the fullest!

These two were always a joy to be around, everyone loved to be around them. In 2018 Shaun and Janise became business owners of Norton’s Lawn & Tree LLC. He was so proud to start his own business. He was a very hard worker and loved to provide for his family. Family meant everything to Shaun no matter how far away they were he cherished his family.

Shaun was preceded into death by his uncles; Micheal, Mark and Jerry Mabry, cousin; James Mabry, and mother in law; Donnetta Knighten.
