Listen to Obituary

Sheila D. Beckwith was born on December 22, 1977 to Roger and Debi Bailey in Warrensburg Missouri. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Roger Bailey Senior, Laura Jean Bailey, Frank Martin, and Sandra Bales.

Sheila Graduated from Lee's Summit High School in 1996 and furthered her education at CMSU in Warrensburg Missouri. She worked as a Med Assistant while commuting from Kansas City too Warrensburg to further higher education. Shelia began working at John Knox Village in 1994 and continued working as a Med Assistant and Behavioral Health Tech until 2015. She was employed with Integrity Home Health until her own health started to decline. She later provided home health care for her mother-in-law.  Sheila had a passion for cooking and could make anything from scratch. She was a throwback when it came to the food thing. She loved to travel and spend time with her family and cats Pepper and Jamal. Sheila loved people and was kind to everyone. She would help a stranger which was evident even in death. Shelia chose to donate organs to hopefully give others a second chance at life.

She is survived by her husband Anthony Haynes (Kansas City, Mo). Her Parents Roger and Debi Bailey (Kansas City, Mo). Her sons Nathaniel and Zackary Beckwith (Kansas City, Mo). Three stepchildren Donta Haynes, Jasmine Reed (Rodregus) (Kansas City, Mo) and Antoinette Haynes (South Carolina). She had one sibling Jeremy Bailey, five grandchildren, 2 aunts, 6 uncles and host of In-Laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and people that loved her very much. Though Sheila departed this life on March 13th, 2021 we hope that her kind spirit and generosity will live on in others and that her gifts will continue to give. I will love and always cherish her memory. Her husband Anthony Haynes!
