"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith." — 2 Timothy 4:7

On Friday, May 29, 2026, our loving Heavenly Father, in His infinite wisdom and divine providence, called His faithful servant, Shepherdess Patricia Ann Jackson, from labor to reward. Having lived a life dedicated to God, family, ministry, and service, she peacefully exchanged the burdens of this earthly life for eternal rest in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Shepherdess Patricia Ann Jackson was born on August 1, 1963, to the late Elder Esau Jackson Jr. and Mother Birdella Murrell-Jackson. She was reared in a Christian home where holiness, prayer, and faithfulness to God were the foundation of daily living. At an early age, Patricia accepted Christ as her personal Savior and remained steadfast in her commitment to the Lord throughout her life.

Patricia received her education through the Kansas City Public School System and continued her studies at Metropolitan Community College. She possessed a strong work ethic and unwavering dedication to excellence. Her professional career was spent with Fortis BenefitS Insurance Company, where she faithfully served as an Insurance Claims Supervisor. Through her diligence, leadership, and commitment, she earned the respect of her colleagues and peers. After twenty-eight years of dedicated service, she retired from the company, leaving behind a legacy of professionalism and integrity.

Never one to limit her gifts and talents, Patricia ventured into entrepreneurship and established PAJ Women's Boutique, located in the Gates Center at 12th Street and Brooklyn in Kansas City, Missouri. Through her business, she expressed her creativity and passion for helping women present themselves with confidence and grace.

Above all, Patricia loved the Lord and His Church. Following the untimely passing of her beloved brother, Pastor Marvin J. Jackson, she was appointed Shepherdess of El-Shaddai International Ministries in Grandview, Missouri, in the year 2020. She faithfully embraced this calling, serving alongside church leadership and ministering to the congregation with wisdom, compassion, dignity, and unwavering faith. Her life and ministry were marked by a spirit of service, prayer, encouragement, and love for God's people.

She remained deeply devoted to her home church, St. Paul Monument of Faith Church of God in Christ, where she was nurtured in the faith and where her spiritual roots were firmly planted. She was also cherished by the congregation of El-Shaddai International Ministries, where her influence and godly example touched countless lives.

Shepherdess Jackson was preceded in death by her father, Elder Esau Jackson Jr.; and two beloved brothers, Minister Andrew E. Jackson and Pastor Marvin J. Jackson.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory her loving and devoted mother, Mother Birdella Jackson; two brothers, Elder Ronnie E. Jackson and Bishop Clifford A. Jackson; her only aunt, Mother Mary Owens; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and extended family members; her beloved church families of El-Shaddai International Ministries and St. Paul Monument of Faith COGIC; a multitude of friends and loved ones; and a very special friend and companion of more than twenty-five years, Pastor Nicholas Moore.

Throughout her life's journey, Patricia was blessed with the enduring love and fellowship of two extraordinary women who became sisters in every sense of the word. Dr. Kiva Gates and Marquita Miller shared a special bond with Patricia that spanned many years and was rooted in faith, trust, love, and mutual respect. Their friendship was a source of strength, encouragement, wisdom, and joy. Through life's triumphs and challenges, they remained steadfast companions whose influence and support helped shape and enrich Patricia's life. She treasured their sisterhood and counted them among God's most precious gifts.

Although our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we rejoice in the blessed assurance that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Shepherdess Patricia Ann Jackson lived a life of purpose, faith, and service. Her prayers, her kindness, her leadership, and her steadfast devotion to God have left an indelible mark upon the lives of all who knew and loved her.

Today we celebrate a faithful servant, a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, Shepherdess, businesswoman, and friend. Her labor is ended, her crown has been won, and her works do follow her.

"Well done, thou good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord." — Matthew 25:23
