Sidney J Kelly

Sidney James Kelly was born September 2, 1945 in Earle, Arkansas.  He was born to the union of Sid Kelly and Mary Alice Boone.  He was the youngest child born to a family of eight children.

Sidney moved to Kansas City, Missouri in 1960.  He attended Manual High School where he graduated in 1964.  After graduation he joined the U.S. Air Force completing his service in 1968.

Sidney was married to Charlene Giles on June 22, 1969.  To this union two children were born, Cindy Maria and Angela Michelle.

Upon his return to civilian life he became a truck driver.  Sidney retired from the United States Postal Service in 2009 after twenty six years of employment.

He was preceded in death by both parents, his devoted wife Charlene Kelly; three brothers Percy Jones Jr., LaMark H. Bolton, James E. Bolton; two sisters Ilene Taylor and Ruby Wilburn. He leaves to cherish his memories his beloved daughters Cindy M. Kelly and Angela M. Kelly; one grandson D’Angelo M. Kelly - Young; sisters Bobbie J. Ragsdale and Irma Z. Bolton; brothers since childhood Eddie Winrow (Jackie) and Eddie Price (Tina); sister-in-law, Clara Mabon; “embraced daughter” (niece) JaKeydra Giles all of Kansas City, Missouri and a host of family and friends not mentioned nor have they been forgotten.
