Sonya L Tabron

Sonya Tabron, 55, passed away on August 31, 2022, at Advent Health Hospital in Shawnee, KS. She was born on July 8, 1967, in Kansas City, MO to Clifford Pouncil and Juanita Redwine. She grew up in Kansas City, MO and Kansas City, KS.

Sonya graduated from Washington High School in Kansas City, KS. After high school she attended Donnelly College  where she received an Associate degree in Business/Communication.

Sonya worked for many years at the Signature Group as a phone representative. She also worked for Teletech, Avery’s Village, USD 500 Bus Transportation, and Paces. She was involved with the Paseo Marching Band, and For His Glory.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford Pouncil (Louise), and Juanita Redwine; siblings, Clifford Tabron, and Veronica Berryman; and a sister-in-law, Arla Lucas.

She is survived by her children, Stephanie Ellis, and Stephen Tabron, Stephon Tabron (Rachel); brothers, Karl Lucas, Tyrone Tabron, Martez Tabron, Steven Tabron, Todd Tabron, and Aaron Pouncil; sisters, Lavonda Edwards, Kimberly Chism, Lachon Wilson, Donna Whitley, Cheryl Pouncil, Ericka Collins, and Tina Berryman; grandchildren, Arii Ellis- Warren, Chase Stribling, Kyson Tabron, Tatum Tabron, Mylan Tabron, and Harlee Tabron; and a host of other relatives and friends.
