Stephen Mckenzie

Stephen passed away at the age of 29 in Kansas City, MO. He was born on, June 12, 1992, in Kanas City, MO to Rhoda Rebecca Sawyer and Hubert Handson Jr.  He attended Central High School where he played on the football team. He was a private paint contractor. He enjoyed music. Those who knew him knew that they were bound to hear a freestyle.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Laura Dean Britton; great-grandmother, Rhoda Jumper; grandfathers, John Franklin, and Charles Robinson; and great-aunt, Claudia Davis.

He leaves to cherish his memories both parents; his daughter, Amelia McKenzie; his brother, Terrance Robinson-Licking of Kansas City, MO; his sisters, Brittine Sawyer of Virginia Beach, VA, Kadeem Handson, Sa’Mila Handson, Alamin Handson, Wajdi Handson, Zion Handson, Zykire Robinson, and Bukhari Handson, all of Kansas City, MO, and Mubrak Handson of Portland OR; and a host of other relatives and friends.
